Jacob, not Acavel: Oy. That stunt with Bishop seemed like a good idea, a long long time ago-- and then the fog hit, and it became utterly pointless.

First: establish a sound-signal-- a particular whistle-- so that Grell and I can signal locations to each other, and come a'runnin', in the almost-certain event that we get separated.

Next: one last look around the crowd: is Kray there? Bishop? Any of our objects of inquiry?

If not: next into the inn! "Those who are trying to escape notice travel away from the mob, not toward it-- into the building others are fleeing. We should look in the kitchen and upstairs in the rooms-- and, as much as we can, in the fog of the bar itself. I suggest we find whether there is another exit from the building, start at it and work backwards through the building, trusting that the crowd at the front door will deter any flight in that direction. If we fail here, then we must go to the caravan next."

A meta-note, Jacob's not Acavel/Sandarkar's. Amalgith's been an NPC for a while now, and I understand that does mean he's not going to do decisive plot-altering things-- but absolute muteness might not be the answer. I'd'a'thunk that he'd at least be saying, insistently and often, that he was swung at first-- no? He might not be believed by all, but he should at least be establishing that that's his story (and, of course, it happens to be true, so he might be offering to swear oaths etc.)

Open, questions, but I guess particularly for Scott:

How long has passed since the horn blew? Minutes, right? 5, no more than 10? Counting by rounds it might be less. So significant personages (Kray etc) shouldn't be back at the caravan yet; they should still be in the stirred-up crowd of people right outside the bar, yes? And even at a run no one could have gotten but so far away yet?

Besides the guards and Amalgith, whom do we see outside buzzing around?
