Sandarkar: [with a bit of frustration in his voice] "All right then, don't trust me-- but trust strong Bishop, who took care of you and kept you out of trouble the other night when you were... indisposed.
"The longer you tax us with your threats, the harder it will be to find he whom you fought.
[frustration easing, regaining his cool] "And-- young lady?-- you took everyone by surprise in the bar. But now you have attracted the interest of Captain Kray and the Duke's Guards. Do you truly think that
they are incapable of finding one little sorceress just becuase she is invisible? Think, girl. This caravan carries both great wealth and noble blood. Do you think it travels defenseless against a bit of magic, so that anyone with a ring or a spell... or a nosy horn... could rob it blind or slit a throat in the night? If you come with us and work no more of your weirding ways that will be a sign of good faith and a sign that your story is the true one. Disappear again and Kray's men
will find you, and they will
not be gentle, no matter if we've found the thief with the Duke's own ring on his finger by then.
"Come. I had hoped that we might be able to send some to Kray's tent and others on the hunt. But we should all go to Kray together, I think, lest Drusilla's temper and tongue provoke Kray's men into actions he would regret. O Warrior, mount your... steed.. and come with us. Immediately, if you please."

I note for the record that no character has ever heard the name Acavel; Drusilla has no reason to think that there's any name other than Sandarkar.

Hmm. I'm most curious what I'm going to end up doing when
I'm being NPC'ed from 7/10 to 7/23 (since I'm pretty sure Malawi won't have blogger access).
Acavel:"Our thanks, Gimble. Lady Drusilla, You do not know me well, but I ask you to trust me-- and to trust Captain Kray, who is a man of judgment and goodwill. Amalgith is already with the Captain, explaining what took place; things would go much better if you would go to the Captain as well, freely, unbound, and not arrested. The truth wll out before the night is done-- and if, as I think, the truth is in your favor then you've nothing to fear. Work no more magic! Come with us to the Captain. The sooner that is done, the sooner we can return to our search for Grum and his friends."
